FPT Invests $200 Million in AI Factory with Nvidia Partnership

FPT, a Vietnamese tech giant, has announced a $200 million investment to build an AI factory in collaboration with Nvidia.

The partnership aims to create a one-stop shop for AI and cloud services, offering AI products, GPU infrastructure, tech experts, and domain expertise for clients in Vietnam and other regions where FPT operates.

The AI factory will feature Nvidia's latest technologies, including Nvidia AI Enterprise software and frameworks, as well as Nvidia H100 Tensor Core GPUs. It will provide cloud GPU services to FPT's corporate customers globally, enabling them to access resources for AI research, accelerate the development of AI applications, and achieve breakthroughs in improving productivity and customer experience.

FPT intends to offer end-to-end generative AI services, with a focus on the automotive, manufacturing, banking, and insurance sectors.

FPT's education group will also work to strengthen the AI workforce by incorporating Nvidia's programs into educational curriculum and activities, training programs, and lab facilities at both university and high school levels. The goal is to reach at least 30,000 students within five years. Additionally, FPT and Nvidia will explore opportunities to develop cloud gaming with Nvidia GeForce NOW in Vietnam.
