Gaborone West Police Investigate Murder of 31-Year-Old Police Officer

The Gaborone West Police Station is investigating the murder of 31-year-old police officer Neo Tebogo Mogatsaseno, who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, Warona Koloka, a soldier, on April 15, 2024. The police received a report on Monday of a lifeless body discovered in Block 9 near the trenches. Upon arrival, the body was taken to a nearby hospital where Mogatsaseno was certified dead.

The police have since arrested the 33-year-old suspect, Koloka, in connection with the murder. He appeared before the Village Magistrate Court on a single count of murder and is expected to appear for mention on May 2.
