Critical Role's 'Legend of Vox Machina' Season 3 Premieres Fall 2024 on Prime Video

Fans of Critical Role's animated series "The Legend of Vox Machina" can rejoice as the highly anticipated third season has been confirmed for a Fall 2024 premiere on Prime Video. The announcement was made byCritical Role CEOTravis Willingham, generating excitement among the show's dedicated fanbase.

Season 3 will pick up where the second season left off in February 2023, with Vox Machina facing off against the formidable Chroma Conclave, a group of powerful dragons that have taken control of the world. The upcoming 12-episode season promises to resolve the intense cliffhanger and showcase the heroes' battle against this new threat.

"The Legend of Vox Machina" is based on Critical Role's first Dungeons & Dragons actual-play campaign, which concluded in 2017. The animated series features an all-star cast, including Critical Role founders Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O'Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham, who lend their voices to the beloved characters they originally portrayed in the campaign.

The series has been a resounding success, with the first season premiering in January 2022 and the second season following in January 2023. Prime Video has shown immense confidence in the show, with plans for a total of five seasons. Additionally, a spin-off series titled "Mighty Nein," based on Critical Role's second campaign, is currently in production with Titmouse, the animation studio behind "The Legend of Vox Machina."

Critical Role has also recently launched its own streaming service, Beacon, which offers fans access to the entire Critical Role archive for a monthly subscription of $5. The service will feature exclusive content, including behind-the-scenes shows and podcasts, while the archives will remain available on Twitch and YouTube.
