Dublin Singer Barry McCormack Releases New Single Ahead of Upcoming Album

Dublin-born singer-songwriter Barry McCormack has released a new single titled "We Will Prevail" ahead of his upcoming album "Painting Devils" set to drop in September. McCormack, now based in Helsinki, is a former member of the Dublin act Jubilee Allstars and has released seven albums known for their rough-hewn and hard-won tales from Dublin's underbelly.

The music video for "We Will Prevail" was filmed in Helsinki's gritty districts of Kontula and Kallio, as well as the legendary bar Roskapankki, which means 'bad bank' in Finnish. The video tells the story of a Finnish woman's determination to have one last drink with an old friend.

McCormack has made Helsinki his home and continues to create music that reflects his experiences and observations. With seven albums under his belt, he is known for his raw and honest storytelling, often drawing from Dublin's underbelly.

"We Will Prevail" serves as a preview of what's to come on McCormack's eighth studio album "Painting Devils." The single showcases his signature sound and lyrical style, capturing the grit and determination of the human spirit. Fans can look forward to the full album release this September.
