After 20 years, childhood friends and reality TV stars Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are set to reunite for a new reality show. The duo rose to fame in the early 2000s with their hit series The Simple Life, which aired from 2003 to 2007 and featured the friends trading their glamorous Los Angeles lives for menial jobs in small-town America.

According to TMZ, the pair has a new project in development that has already garnered interest from several bidders. James Corden's production company, Fulwell 73, has purchased the rights to the show. While the new series won't share the same name asThe Simple Life, it's expected to explore how Hilton and Richie's lives have changed since becoming middle-aged mothers.

To celebrate their long-standing friendship, Hilton and Richie shared a nostalgic photo collage on Instagram, captioning it "From Day 1: Sill and Bill," referring to their nicknames for each other. Last year, Hilton posted about The Simple Life's 20th anniversary, saying, "Filming this series with Nicole Richie was one of the most special, hilarious, and iconic times in my life. I'm so lucky to have these amazing memories!"

The friends have come a long way since their carefree days on The Simple Life. Today, they are both married with children. Nicole is married to Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, with whom she has two children, Sparrow, 14, and Harlow, 16. Paris is married to entrepreneur Carter Reum, and they have two children together, Phoenix, 1, and London, born in November last year.

While the new reality series will feature a fresh concept and comedic format similar to The Simple Life, specific details are being kept under wraps for now. However, fans can expect the show to capture the iconic duo's enduring chemistry and humor once again when it premieres. The exact release date has yet to be announced.
