Stacey Solomon Unlikely to Return as Regular Panellist on Loose Women

Stacey Solomon, 34, is unlikely to return as a regular panellist on ITV's Loose Women due to herbusy scheduleand family commitments. The Essex singer and TV personality, who first joined the show in 2016, has been absent from the panel for the past 18 months after taking an extended break in December 2022 prior to giving birth to her fifth child, Belle, in February 2023.

Solomon's Loose Women co-star Linda Robson, 66, recently revealed that the popular panellist is "too busy" to commit to a full-time return to the show. "She's not going to be a regular anymore? I don't think so, but you never know," says Robson told The Sun. "I would love her to come back, she's a really good Loose Woman - she's really honest. But I think she's got too much on."

Since welcoming baby Belle, Solomon has been juggling a thriving career with her growing family. The past year has seen her land two major TV roles, filming BBC's Sort Your Life Out and Channel 4's Renovation Rescue, which have required her to travel extensively across the country. Solomon briefly returned to the Loose Women studio in November 2023, addressing her lengthy absence. "It's been crazy because Belle was a wonderful surprise, but what that meant was that I had to fit my filming schedule into a very short period of time," she explained to viewers.

In addition to her TV commitments, Solomon has been embracing life with her husband Joe Swash, 42, and their blended family. The couple, who tied the knot in July 2022, share three children together: Rex, 4, Rose, 2, and baby Belle. Solomon also has two sons from previous relationships, Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 10, while Swash has a son, Harry, 16, from a prior relationship. Despite the challenges of a busy household, Swash recently hinted that the couple may not be done expanding their future just yet.

While fans may be disappointed by the prospect of seeing less of Solomon on Loose Women, her co-stars have been nothing but supportive of her decision to prioritize her family and career. Robson emphasized that Solomon is still very much a part of the Loose Women family, even if she can't commit to being a regular panellist at this time. As Solomon continues to navigate the demands of motherhood and her thriving career, viewers can look forward to seeing her onLoose Women's futurewhenever her schedule allows.
