Indian actress Surbhi Chandna, who married Karan Sharma on March 1, 2024, has shared glimpses of her Chooda Vadhana Rasam (chooda removal ceremony) on social media. The inside, ceremony, which marks the end of the initial post-wedding period for brides, took place on Akshaya Tritiya, a significant occasion in Hindu culture.

In the shared video, Surbhi is seen removing her pink and white chooda, which she captioned on Instagram: "This Chuda became such a significant part of my life and it had its own Fan Base and it was finally time to bid adieu to my piece of heart on this beautiful occasion of Akshaya Tritiya to only preserve & Cherish it forever. Miss you Already." During the ceremony, a family member carefully removed Surbhi's chooda, soaked it in milk water, and wrapped it in a red cloth. Surbhi was then given another set of bangles to wear and later prayed and kept the chooda at her home temple.
