Real Warri Pikin Calls Out Abuja Single Men for Avoiding Marriage

Nigerian comedienne Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has spoken out against single men in Abuja who refuse to get married and settle down. In a recent video, she expressed her frustration with the dating pool in the state, citing numerous reports from people about men who only seek women to become baby mamas and are unwilling to commit to marriage.

Real Warri Pikin lamented, "Abuja men, what is happening to the dating pool in Abuja? I hear say na una dey scatter am." She further criticized the men, saying, "You people are not ready to get married and committed. You'll just see a responsible girl wey dey live her life, wey dey do her 5 to 9, dey do her thing, and wan turn am to baby mama."

According to the comedienne, many men in Abuja claim they are not emotionally available to settle down, despite women's desire for commitment. "The girls are ready to get married, but the only thing you tell them is, 'It's not you, it's me. I can not love you the way that you deserve right now. I'm emotionally available right now,'" she said, mocking the excuses given by the men.

Real Warri Pikin, who remarried her husband Ikechukwu in June 2023, emphasized that there are many people, including herself, who are enjoying their marriages. She stated that she has been overwhelmed with reports from people in Abuja about the "messy dating pool" and the trend among men needs to shift.

The comedienne's remarks have sparked a conversation about the dating pool in Abuja and the reluctance of single men to commit to marriage. Real Warri Pikin's video has brought attention to the concerns of many women who are seeking commitment and marriage but are met with resistance from men who prefer casual relationships or baby mamas.
