Brigham Young University's football program has secured a commitment from Cale Breslin, a highly touted three-star running back from Las Vegas, Nevada, for their 2025 recruiting class. Breslin, who currently attends Faith Lutheran High School, announced his decision to commit to BYU on Friday, May 10th, 2024, choosing the Cougars over offers from seven other schools, including Wisconsin, Indiana, Syracuse, San Diego State, Hawaii, Florida Atlantic, and UConn.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back expressed his excitement about committing to BYU, stating,"100% committed to BYU football. Breslin's impressivehigh school performancehas earned him recognition as one of the top running back prospects in the state of Nevada. As a junior, he rushed for 1,226 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning him a spot on the First Team All-Southern Nevada Preps. 247Sports ranks Breslin as the No. 10 prospect in Nevada and the No. 82 running back in the nation for the 2025 class.

National recruiting analyst Greg Biggins praised Breslin's skills, noting his good initial quickness, burst, vision, and patience.
