Between May 6-11, 2024, a joint warrant roundup operation conducted by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Attorney General's Office resulted in the arrest of eight individuals on felony arrest warrants and parole warrants. The operation aimed to maintain community safety by targeting those with outstanding serious offenses.

Other arrests made during the operation period included charges of assault of a family member and impeding breath/circulation, with a bond set at $15,000; driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years old, with a bond set at $5,000; and injury to a child, elderly, or disabled person, with a bond set at $10,000. Additional offenses ranged from public intoxication and driving while intoxicated to possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary of a habitation.

In total, 23 people were booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center during the operation conducted by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office between May 6-11, 2024.
